Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

$109,300.00 – $180,200.00

What Is the Opportunity?

This role provides critical support for filed rating plans within the Commercial Multi-Peril (CMP) line, with primary emphasis on the TPP / BOP 2.0 product. The position is responsible for developing and implementing rates, rating plans, and pricing strategies that align with company objectives for profitability and growth.

This position offers the opportunity to drive strategic pricing decisions while developing technical expertise in commercial insurance rating and regulatory compliance. This role may act as a manager of a small team.

Key Responsibilities

– Manage capacity planning and execute filing schedules to meet regulatory deadlines

– Participate in systems implementation and conduct comprehensive rate validation to ensure regulatory compliance

– Perform external rate adequacy analysis and respond to Department of Insurance (DOI) objections

– Develop project plans for special initiatives and provide mentorship to team – Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with business units, product management, actuarial teams, enterprise product groups, systems personnel, and compliance areas

– Provide strategic direction and guidance for supporting staff
