Speech-Language Pathologist – SNF

Location : Manchester, CT

Schedule : Full-time

Setting : Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Overview :

We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a skilled nursing facility team in Manchester, CT . This role offers the opportunity to work with a supportive interdisciplinary team while making a direct impact on the quality of life and functional communication of older adults.

Responsibilities :

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and goals

Collaborate with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, and physicians

Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and facility standards

Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers to support progress and outcomes

Qualifications :

Active Connecticut SLP license (or eligibility)

Previous SNF or geriatric experience preferred

Strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills
