$350 to $425 per hour

About The Position

Radiology Locums Physician - Illinois

Hospital-based radiology assignment near Chicago, Illinois, offering weekday coverage blocks with no pediatric reads or procedures required.

Highlights

  • 1 to 2 weeks per month, flexible block scheduling
  • No pediatric reads, no mammography, no interventional cases
  • Long-term assignment potential

Practice Setting

  • Inpatient radiology across three hospital campuses, Level I and II trauma centers
  • Department of more than 13 physicians focused on CT and MR
  • Epic, PowerScribe, and Intelerad PACS systems in use
  • Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Call is optional and negotiable
  • Prefer onsite locum but open to remote providers
  • Cases and Procedures

  • Body CT, ultrasound, and MR reads
  • Typical volumes per rotation : about 35 CTs, 60 ultrasounds, or 100 X-rays per day
  • No interventional or procedural work required
  • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Radiology
  • Active Illinois license and BLS
  • Travel and Accommodations

  • Airfare, rental car, and lodging provided
