Echo Sonographer jobs in Charleston, SC offer you the opportunity to work in a city known for its vibrant mix of history, culture, and coastal charm. As an Echo Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures, including echocardiograms, to assess heart function and structure. Your responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, operating ultrasound equipment, and producing high-quality images for interpretation by cardiologists. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and documenting patient information accurately.

To qualify for this role, you need to be a registered Echo Sonographer with ARDMS or CCI certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required. A minimum of one year of experience in echocardiography is preferred, and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is beneficial. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential.
