Travel Registered Nurse Job Details Location : Baltimore, Maryland 21215 (Maryland nursing jobs) Assignment Type : Travel RN, On-Site Start Date : December 1, 2025 End Date : March 9, 2026 Duration : 14 weeks Shift : Day Shift, 3x12-Hour Shifts (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend and every other holiday required Floating : Required between HICU (ICU step-down), Brain Health Unit, and LTC Ventilator Unit Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780-$1910 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Maryland or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at time of submission) Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience (HICU requires 2 years; other units require at least 1 year) Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred) Experience with Cerner electronic health record (EHR) charting system LTAC, Trauma Level I, and community hospital nursing experience preferred Strong organizational, clinical, and leadership skills Professional references required Ability to attend all orientation days (Tuesday-Friday, day shift) Zero tolerance for tardiness and unexcused absences First-time travel nurses welcome! RN Responsibilities Float between HICU (ICU step-down), Brain Health Unit, and LTC Ventilator Unit as needed Deliver comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical and neurological conditions Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry, ventilator support, tracheostomies, G-tubes, PICC lines, and chest tubes Administer medications, blood products, and manage non-titratable drips Perform patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and respond to rapid changes in patient condition Engage patients in rehabilitation, group activities, and one-on-one therapeutic exercises Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold infection prevention protocols Discover rewarding travel nursing jobs in Baltimore and make a meaningful impact in a collaborative healthcare environment.
