We are seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to lead the architecture and delivery of AI-driven products powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) . You’ll drive innovation at the intersection of conversation intelligence, natural language processing, and enterprise-scale SaaS — building products that reshape how humans and businesses interact. Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Director of Engineering to lead critical product and platform engineering initiatives. This leader will drive strategy, execution, and delivery across multiple engineering teams building Uniphore’s core conversational AI, voice automation, and analytics platforms.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders (Product, Design, Data Science, Customer Success) to drive innovation and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions for our global customer base.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and inspire multiple engineering teams building Uniphore’s next-gen conversational AI platforms and products.
• Drive the architecture, implementation, and optimization of systems leveraging LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks to enhance conversational intelligence and accuracy.
• Partner with Product, Data Science, and Design to define and execute product roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needs.
• Build scalable architectures that support LLM fine-tuning, inference, prompt engineering, and RAG pipelines in production environments.
• Foster a culture of innovation, rapid experimentation, and engineering excellence across AI / ML and product engineering teams.
• Own end-to-end software delivery : planning, execution, release, quality, and operational excellence.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineering leaders and ICs across a distributed team.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term product and technology strategy, particularly in leveraging emerging AI technologies.

The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
