Orthopedic Physician Opportunity – Non-Operative Sports Medicine

Prisma Health, the largest healthcare

provider in South Carolina, is seeking a Board-Certified Primary

Care Sports Medicine Physician with a Certificate of Added

Qualification in Sports Medicine to join our established and

dynamic practice. The incoming physician will inherit a full

schedule of established patients, providing the opportunity for

immediate integration into a thriving practice.

In this role, you will practice in a productive sports medicine

clinic within our orthopedic department. You will be joining a

well-established, multidisciplinary orthopedic practice. Our sports

medicine department includes 6 Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeons

and 4 Primary Care Sports Medicine Physicians. You will also serve

as a Team Physician for the University of South Carolina, providing

training room and game coverage. Additionally, our expansive

athletic training network allows for high-quality care throughout

the community and serves as a strong referral base for athletes of

multiple levels.

The ideal candidate will have

3-5 years of experience in sports medicine, working with team

coverage, and will be comfortable working with athletes at the

collegiate and / or professional level. You should be proficient in

ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures, with significant

experience in concussion management. In this role you will have the

opportunity to shape the future of PCSM by educating 2 Primary Care

Sports Medicine fellows each year in clinic as well as

sports / sideline coverage.
