The CoverMyMeds CIO Infrastructure & Operations team seeks a full-time leader to manage a modern infrastructure support team. This role oversees highly available and high-performing infrastructure solutions, leading a team of motivated professionals. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive practical knowledge to develop solutions that ensure quality, applicability, and business impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Linux and Windows professionals in a real time transaction processing environment
- Manage and support physical and virtual server environments, including Identity & Access Management, across on-premises, co-location, and cloud data centers
- Develop and implement support plans and roadmaps for diverse environments
- Automate redundant functions to improve quality and efficiency
- Drive scalable risk reduction practices collaborating with technical contributors and leadership
- Document standards, architecture, implementation procedures, and troubleshooting steps
- Communicate effectively with peers, upper management, and customers
- Train, mentor, and validate the work of team members
- Demonstrate regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Perform duties remotely or on-site as needed
Minimum Requirements
Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and / or management experience.
Critical Skills
6+ years' professional experience and 3+ years of people leadership experience6+ years experience managing and administering systems infrastructure6+ years' experience in multiple scripting technologies with a focus on automation in PowerShell / Terraform / Ansible / Jenkins6+ years' experience with IT security concepts and best practices, vulnerability assessment, and remediationPreferred Skills
Experience with Identity and Access Management platformsFamiliarity with Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) and patch remediationKnowledge of change management and CMDB methodologiesExperience in automation, reporting, and domain name managementAdditional Skills
