Job descriptionPerform repetitive work while moving around, under, and over equipment while on the production floor 95% of the time Perform work outdoors in all weather 5% of the time High School diploma or equivalent, required Formal training beyond high school (certification or associate’s degree in auto repair), preferred Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience Previous experience with heavy mechanical equipment, preferred Familiarity with and understanding of hydraulic, electrical, gas and diesel systems Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills Ability to read blue prints, hydraulic and electrical schematics Familiarity with computers to look up work instructions, track labor and other tasks as needed

Purpose :
Under general supervision, repairs and rebuilds cement pumping equipment
Essential Job Functions :
- Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment in for repair
- Determine most cost-effective method of repair
- Make recommendations for repair to Production Manager or Customer
- Determine and gather best parts for
- Connect hydraulic lines and fills such with oil in preparation for required testing
- Prepare trucks for sub-frame assembly by disassembling, measuring, repositioning parts, installing parts and re-assemble unit by following procedures
- Test the assembled parts or products to ensure they are functioning properly and are of good quality
- Comply with workplace health and safety policies, safe work practices and procedures
- Maintain tools and the work space in good condition
- May perform reasonably similar or related duties as assigned
