Position Summary : The Department Director is responsible for overseeing outpatient services for FSRIs Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). The Department Director oversees triage, outpatient and school-based mental health services including service provision, staffing oversight, partnerships with community providers, and ensuring data and quality measures are carried out. Oversees the expansion of behavioral health services to increase overall access to care for the community. Provides Project Direction for SAMSHA CCBHC IA grant. Provides strategic leadership around organizational structure and workflows, oversees compliance with state certification standards, and works with agency leadership to create and maintain processes to meet the needs of CCBHC and FSRI clients. Works closely with FSRIs finance and quality management departments to ensure smooth operations of all services in the Healing Division including CCBHC. Responsible for monitoring the quality of care, fiscal health and productivity of assigned programs. Represent the agency at both internal and external subcommittees / meetings.
Qualifications :
A Masters degree in a human service, public health, or health care administration field (psychology, social work, public health administration, marriage / family, nursing, etc) or relevant experience required
Strong administrative skills required
Clinical Supervision Experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in working in a third-party billing environment
Proficiency in professional writing
Experience delivering and overseeing trauma-focused, evidence-based treatments and practices required
Ability to inspire a diverse team to deliver high-quality and innovative treatments and services
Ability to work independently at a high-level and cover for Chief of Behavioral Health as needed
Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs
Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated
Flexible schedule with some evenings
Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must
Ability to work independently and part of a team
Bilingual / ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.
Physical Requirements : This position requires community visits, employees in this position must have the ability to :
Current drivers license, reliable transportation, registration and auto insurance
Ability to communicate effectively
Travel to and from clients residence, community locations and office site, which could include using walkways, stairs and / or elevators
Ability to lift up to 20lbs
Must be able to work remotely and in person adhering to PHI requirement.
