Qualifications of the Respiratory Therapist (RT) :
- Must hold a current, active Respiratory Therapist license in Pennsylvania.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred.
- Current CPR and PALS certifications.
- Experience with pediatric or neonatal respiratory care is a plus.
- Must be committed to delivering exceptional care to infants, children, and adolescents.
Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist (RT) :
Provide one-to-one respiratory care to patients in a skilled nursing environment.Collaborate with physicians and the care team to execute prescribed treatment plans.Perform patient assessments, monitoring respiratory status and vital signs.Administer respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, ventilator management, tracheostomy care, and other therapies.Train and educate family members and caregivers on respiratory equipment and care plans.Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of care provided in the system of record.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning.Benefits of the Respiratory Therapist (RT) :
