Key Responsibilities :

Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, devices, and equipment in commercial construction projects.

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to determine wiring layouts and material requirements.

Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and company safety policies.

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using proper testing equipment.

Collaborate with foremen, general contractors, and other trades to complete tasks efficiently.

Mentor and guide apprentices, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety practices.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe manner.

Perform quality checks to ensure installations meet specifications before project completion.

Qualifications :

Current Journeyman Electrician License (state-issued, required).

3+ years of electrical experience in commercial construction.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and the NEC.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications.

Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments.

Commitment to safety and teamwork in a construction environment.
