ER RN Job Details Location : Yuma, AZ 85364 (Arizona healthcare job) Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – Emergency Room Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : 12 Hour Days (06 : 45 – 19 : 15) Hours per Week : 36 (Guaranteed) Unit : Emergency Room (ER) Number of Positions : 2 Charting System : EPIC EMR Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1990 - $2130 Emergency Room Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Arizona or compact state) Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience in a Level I or II trauma center within the past 3 years Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (TNCC preferred) Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) Ability to read and interpret telemetry Flexible to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays Must comply with 100-mile radius rule ER RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a busy ER (average 200 patients / day) Manage patient ratios : 1 : 5 for medical, 1 : 6 for fast track Respond to trauma, STEMI, and stroke cases; collaborate with ICU and ED physicians and mid-level providers Utilize advanced equipment such as Glidescope, Hamilton and Phillips ventilators Perform EKGs, blood draws, IV starts, and administer ICU drips for hold patients Float to Foothills freestanding ER as scheduled (15-minute drive) Participate in department orientation and ongoing clinical training Work collaboratively with ED techs, monitor techs, respiratory therapists, and transport teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR system Take the next step in your emergency nursing career with this top-rated travel nursing job in Yuma, Arizona.
