Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable individual to step into an Assistant Project Manager role for an ongoing water meter replacement, installation, and maintenance project. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in construction or utilities to advance into a project management role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee water meter installation and maintenance projects.
• Coordinate routine maintenance for new builds and larger-scale valve and pipe replacement projects.
• Collaborate with clients and field crews.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and support foremen and crews.
• Manage emergency repair scheduling and response.
• Utilize internal project management software for planning and tracking.
• Maintain communication with internal stakeholders and representatives.

Work Environment

This role requires onsite presence seven days a week and will also involve traveling to various project sites. The candidate should be prepared to be on call for emergency responses. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $36.05 / hr.
