Job descriptionExcitement about voice AI and the idea of building real?time pipelines. Solid experience in JavaScript / TypeScript and Node.js. Experience prompt?engineering or fine?tuning LLMs and vector search (RAG) workflows. Comfort working with APIs, queues, and event?driven architectures. Curiosity and a growth mindsetyou learn fast and like experimenting. Clear, concise communication in Jira tickets, PRs, and cross?team discussions. Hands?on work with voice or video pipelines (SIP, WebSockets, WebRTC, Twilio, SignalWire, FreeSWITCH). Familiarity with application monitoring, CI / CD, and IaC setup and processes. Position Summary
At Parker Technology, our customer service representatives and software help real peoplemotorists stuck at parking garage entries and exitsget moving again. This is not a pure-play B2B SaaS job : youll see your code drive microphones, devices, gates, and (most importantly) make a small difference in 5,000+ peoples lives every day. Were building our voice AI capabilities to answer and resolve calls autonomously while transferring calls to live agents when the AI cant cut it. Youll work with a skilled team to ship production?grade voice AI services that blend LLMs with sub?second telephony performance.
What Youll Do
- Build Node.js / TypeScript microservices that ingest real?time audio streams and orchestrate ASR / NLU pipelines.
- Integrate voice AI and LLM services to handle intent, multi?turn dialogs, and escalation to live agents.
- Optimize for low latency & reliability : caching, circuit breakers, telemetry, and rollbacks.
- Work closely with other engineers, product, and even field supportexpect the occasional trip to a parking garage to see your code in action.
- Ship fast, iterate often, and continuously improve our AI pipelines.
