Your Role & Impact

As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist and dental hygienist with the direct provision of primary care dental services to our patients. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Helping with sterilization, preparation, and inventory control of dental instruments and supplies.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate from a California Board-approved RDA education program.
  • Current California Registered Dental Assistant License (Coronal Polish / X-ray / Sealants); Pit & Fissure Sealants certification required by first license renewal.
  • Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Infection Control Certificate.
  • California Dental Practice Act Certificate.
  • Current California Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology, instruments, materials, and medications used during dental procedures.
  • Knowledge of professional and ethical standards of health care delivery.
  • Availability to work outside of normal shifts (e.g., 8am to 5pm) and on Saturdays.
  • Computer proficiency, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook and Word, and experience with electronic health record data entry.
  • Bonus points if you’re bilingual (English / Spanish) or have community clinic experience!
