Shared Services : Marketing (Full-Time, Day Shift) -

The Marketing Specialist Sr obtains appropriate knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the assigned service lines to promote services.
Is responsible for the administration and direction of promotional and marketing services and activities for service lines.
Is responsible for developing, monitoring and evaluating the overall promotional services of specific service lines to assure optimal awareness of such programs.
Performs other duties as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required. Master’s Degree preferred. Minimum of three years of experience in marketing analysis for a higher education, healthcare organization, advertising or marketing agency, or media Company required.
Experience may be considered in lieu of Degree.
Ability to facilitate focus groups, sales, developing mail, and telephone surveys, and the ability to statistically analyze and evaluate results.
Must have demonstrated experience in healthcare or university marketing. Able to keyboard 35 wpm. Able to read; write legibly;
speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g.
- Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate / troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others;
- work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone;
- think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve;
- recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Able to distinguish colors as necessary;
- hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace;
see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
