Job Title : Regulatory Affairs Manager
Location : San Dimas, CA
Salary : $140,000-180,000 / year + Bonus Package

About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to lead regulatory matters for the organization. This role involves managing complex analytical, business, regulatory, and ratemaking tasks while ensuring compliance with all filings and regulations. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with exceptional communication to effectively work with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage the development of applications, testimony, exhibits, and work papers for general rate case applications and other CPUC filings.
Serve as Project Manager for regulatory applications through the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).
Provide testimony at hearings related to general rate cases and other regulatory proceedings.
Represent the company in industry-wide proceedings and workshops at the CPUC and other regulatory agencies.
Maintain ongoing communication with the Accounting Department regarding rate issues.
Provide regulatory expertise and advice to operating and accounting personnel.
Maintain relationships with CPUC staff and Commissioners to ensure effective communication of company information.
Perform complex regulatory, accounting, budgetary, and statistical analysis.
Communicate CPUC-related updates to company personnel and interact with customers regarding rate matters as needed.
Supervise and develop assigned regulatory personnel.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, engineering, environmental / resource planning, or a related discipline.
7–10 years of experience in accounting, finance, or utility regulatory analysis.
Strong experience in researching, analyzing, and preparing statistical and analytical studies.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications; advanced Excel skills preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Utility regulatory experience strongly preferred.
2 years’ supervisory experience preferred.
