Heavy Equipment/Heavy Truck Mechanic Helper TOP PAY

We are looking for a Mechanic Helper to join our team! You will be responsible for preventive maintenance and component repair.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled vehicle maintenance - oil changes, filters, etc.
• Brake service
• Small engine (light truck and equipment) diagnostics and repair
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
• Perform quality inspections
• Light welding / fabrication experience a plus
• Other tasks as necessary
• Shop hours
• Pre-employment and ongoing random drug and alcohol testing

Qualifications:

• Dependable and detail oriented
• Able to follow instructions
• Previous experience as a mechanic a plus
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline driven
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license
