Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Description

We are a fee for service practice located in a beautiful neighborhood of Waverly Woods providing comprehensive dentistry for over 25 years, and we are looking for an experienced dental hygienist to join our team! One of our dedicated dental hygienists, who has worked with us for 18 years, is retiring. We are a sole practitioner office with a small and dedicated staff. Our practice is focused on providing quality care along with great patient experience. We use state of the art equipment to treat our patients, including digital radiography, iTero scanner, OverJet, and brand new Cavitron scalers.

The Dental Hygienist is the chief preventive care provider of our dental office. This team member motivates, educates, and provides excellent dental treatment. Under indirect supervision, the Dental Hygienist will remove hard and soft deposits from teeth and examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease. He or she will educate patients on oral hygiene, provide preventative dental care, take digital radiographs, and apply fluoride and sealants.

The Dental Hygienist will also perform periodontal scaling and root planning procedures, as diagnosed by the Dentist. By discovering and documenting areas of failure, both periodontally and restoratively, he or she facilitates the dentist's diagnosis and treatment recommendations.

Requirements :

• Associate's degree from ADA accredited dental hygienist school
• Current Dental Hygienist State License
• CPR Certification
• Minimum of one year dental experience.
• Eaglesoft experience, preferred

This is starting as a 2-day, PART-TIME position, with the possibility of adding more days. Work hours are Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM with a one-hour lunch break.
