This position will be located onsite in the Chicago Corporate Office in West Loop.

The Vice President of Risk Management will be a key strategic leader, responsible for developing and overseeing comprehensive risk management strategies across both the corporate level and the organization's hotel portfolio. This role will ensure identification, assessment, and mitigation of risk while supporting Arbor's business objectives. This person will partner with senior leadership, property-level teams, and external stakeholders to implement risk controls, safeguard assets, and accountability throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Identify, assess, and prioritize risk across the hotel portfolio
• Provide senior leadership with regular risk assessments and recommendations to support informed decision making
• Oversee company's insurance programs, including property, liability, workers' compensation, and other relevant programs
• Direct claims management process, ensuring efficient resolution and cost containment
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety, health and labor regulations that direct effect the business
• Collaborate with property-level leadership to monitor risk and reinforce accountability to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
