Cyclyx International, LLC ("Cyclyx") is a pioneer in the plastic value chain, leveraging our proprietary technology to convert post-use plastic waste into high-quality feedstock for recycling. Our state-of-the-art Circularity Center, currently under construction in Houston, TX, will be the first large scale facility in the United States, designed to process a diverse range of post-consumer, commercial, and industrial plastic waste. This innovative center will have the capacity to produce 300 million pounds of custom-formulated feedstock per year and convert it into ISCC-PLUS-certified feedstock suitable for mechanical and advanced recycling applications.

Role Overview

The Cyclyx Senior Financial Analyst will provide strategic financial insights and support decision-making across the organization. This role will be instrumental in analyzing financial data, forecasting trends, preparing budgets, and generating reports that guide executive leadership. Additionally, the role will support the accounting department with the month-end close process by creating journal entries, preparing reconciliations, and other monthly activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial performance reports for leadership reviews.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify trends to recommend improvements.
• Lead cost analysis initiatives and enforce financial policies and procedures.
• Evaluate financial performance against plans and forecasts.
• Support preparation of the consolidated financial forecasts and associated variance analysis.
• Support ad hoc modeling, forecasting, and the strategic planning process.
• Drive process improvements through automation and dashboard development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial planning with business objectives.

Reports to : CFO

Type : Exempt; Full-time

Work Hours : Flexible, but must be available, 8 : 00-5 : 00, Monday to Friday with occasional evening and weekend work.

Location : Houston, TX

Work environment : Primarily an office environment, but may also work in an industrial environment at times where the use of PPE is required.

Travel : Minimal - Less than 10% as needed to meet with members and attend off-site meetings

Physical Demand is substantially that of an office environment. Occasional lifting and manual work.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status.
