WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Cardiothoracic Operating Room Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in NYC.

Job Function :

Day Shift.

3x12.

Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the facility EMR.

Preps operating room for patient / procedure and assists other staff in breaking down the room.

Assists in positioning, responding to comfort / safety of patient.

Provides for accurate care and handling of specimens.

Job Requirements :

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing  (BSN).

Current RN license for the state of New York.

2  years of acute CT Operating Room   RN experience is required

BLS & ACLS PALS certifications  from the American Heart Association.

EPIC experience highly preferred.
