Red Cat Holdings is looking to fill an immediate position for a full-time Accounting Manager Revenue. Red Cat Holdings is a leading innovator in drone technology, specializing in mission-ready solutions for defense, public safety, and commercial applications. This role will oversee the full order-to-cash cycle, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, billing, and cash application processes, as well as strong internal controls. This is a hands-on role that will be deeply involved in day-to-day operations while driving improvements in processes, systems, and controls to support our rapid growth. This role will be based out of Teal Drones, a wholly owned subsidiary of Red Cat, facility in Salt Lake City, UT, and will report to the Corporate Controller.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end order-to-cash cycle, including contract review, billing, revenue recognition, cash application, and related reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing in accordance with customer contracts, purchase orders, and company policies.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, and Operations to review customer contracts and ensure appropriate accounting treatment under US GAAP (ASC 606).
• Identify risks in the O2C cycle and implement strong internal controls to mitigate them.
• Support quarterly and annual financial audits, including SOX compliance requirements, related to O2C activities.
• Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to drive scalability and efficiency.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for revenue recognition (ASC 606) accounting guidance and technical considerations.
