Job description3+ years of tax experience in public accounting BS / BA in Accounting or related field (CPA and / or MST preferred) Strong skills in U.S. tax compliance; exposure to international or indirect tax a plus Proficient in Excel Experience or interest in ASC 740, fixed asset tax depreciation, or automation projects Strong communicator and analytical thinker Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally
Senior Tax Accountant - Financial Services
A global, tech-driven investment firm in Chicago is looking for a Senior Associate to join their high-performing tax team! This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of global tax compliance, research, and planning projects.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review U.S. and international income tax returns (with external providers)
- Handle indirect tax filings in the U.S., Europe, and Asia
- Support ASC 740 tax provision prep
- Assist with transfer pricing processes
- Respond to tax authority inquiries
- Research complex tax issues and propose solutions
- Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives
