Reporting to the General Manager, the Store Associate is responsible for completing duties as assigned according to production and workflow standards, as well as ensuring a positive customer experience in both the front and back of the store.
Full-time positions are scheduled for 30-40 hours per week, while part-time positions are scheduled for 16-24 hours per week.

Operational
- Maintain appropriate security of cash and donated goods.
- Operate register as directed.
- Comply with agency policies and procedures.
- Ensure a high level of customer service both front and back.
Production
Ensure quick placement of high-quality, processed goods to the sales floor.Assist in meeting production numbers set by divisional management.Follow loss prevention and process flow guidelines.Safety
Perform duties according to safety expectations and procedures.Ensure the physical safety of the back room and sales floor.Communicate safety issues and concerns for quick resolution.Perform all other duties assigned by the General Manager.Register Operation
Operate a cash register and POS system effectively.Count change, manage cash drawers, and complete related paperwork accurately.Donation Door and Material Handling
Greet customers, accept donations, and issue receipts.Operate hand stacker and pallet jack, with certification if required.The Store Associate should demonstrate leadership qualities and possess the following :
Preferred experience in customer service.Comfort with handling cash and operating a cash register.Understanding of the donor process and its importance to the mission.Ability to perform job duties safely.At least 6 months of work history unless this is their first job.High school diploma or equivalent is not required.J-18808-Ljbffr
