Job descriptionB.S. in Civil Engineering P.E. registration or ability to obtain P.E. registration 5 to 15 years’ experience in Civil Engineering design related projects Design experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3Dand HEC-RAS software Familiarity with local agency approval processes a plus, but not required. Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Design, management and production of construction plans for various projects, including industrial, commercial, and educational
- Preparing quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid specifications
- Reviewing and processing contractor submittals
- Preparing site investigation and development feasibility reports
- Maintaining project documentation
- Communicate and maintain good client communication
- Perform quantity takeoffs, shop drawing review, and prepare bid specifications
- Perform quality control review of design projects
- Present projects to clients, agencies, municipalities, and the general public.
