Food Safety & Brand Specialist

Overview

Food Safety & Brand Specialist at Steritech (part of the Rentokil family of companies). This position supports hotel, restaurant, and grocery clients in upholding brand standards, ensuring food quality, and delivering friendly, customer-focused service to enhance the guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments that measure conformity to established regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards for clients
• Observe food prep and cooking standards to ensure food safety, health, and sanitation practices
• Partner with clients to address root causes of assessment discrepancies and develop corrective action plans
• Teach and coach clients to make their workplace safer and healthier for themselves and their customers
• Travel 50%–70%, or 8–10 days per month, including some evening and weekend work
• Conduct audits and inspections
• Implement and monitor food safety
• Train and educate staff
• Investigate food safety incidents
• Ensure compliance with regulations
• Maintain documentation and records
• Influence others with tact and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Thrive in an autonomous working environment
• Work a flexible schedule and prioritize tasks by urgency and efficiency
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of food safety
