Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location : West Branch MI

Duration : 13 weeks

Job Description

Performs a variety of technical procedures in nuclear medicine, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Key responsibilities include :

• Nuclear Medicine Instrumentation : Gamma cameras (planar & SPECT), PET, radiation detectors / counters, dose calibrators, equipment QC.
• Radiation Safety : ALARA principles, patient and occupational exposure monitoring, adherence to NRC guidelines.
• Radiopharmacy : Safe administration, preparation, measurement, and QC of radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic / therapeutic use.
