alts | Alteration Specialists is looking for Tailors

We are looking for a dynamic professional Tailors, distinguished by their charisma, technical prowess, and professional integrity. This role will include, sewing on the machine, and supporting the fitter / tailors and tailor shop manager. This is a full time role in New York City, Brooklyn, Hoboken, NJ and Greenwich,CT with an hourly rate, full benefits, and opportunities for future growth.

Machine Production and Sewing

• Demonstrate that you are meeting personal production targets
• Cultivate proficiency with men's, women's, and bridal alterations as well as alterations of difficult fabrics

Compensation

Range is from $18 / hour- $30 / hour

Standard / Basic Tailors are between $18-$22 / hour

Intermediate from $23-$26 / hour

Advanced $26-30 / hour
