Commercial Underwriter

A company is looking for a Commercial Underwriter I.

Key Responsibilities

Completes underwriting trainings and learns from experienced underwriters

Evaluates basic accounts for risk selection and pricing purposes

Communicates with agents and collaborates with marketing representatives

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in insurance or business administration, or equivalent experience

Insurance designations, such as CPCU, preferred

Basic knowledge of underwriting and risk analysis preferred

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Good computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
