CLINICAL NURSE-CN-SUPP

Position : Registered Nurse (RN)

Dept : PACU

Shift : support / prn : 8 hours / pay period

Facility : Upper Valley Medical Center

Practice's professional nursing care in an autonomous manner supported by evidenced-based practice, professional standards of care, and code of ethics. Provides care for patients across the life span in a manner sensitive to social and cultural diversity. The Registered Nurse manages the nursing care in an interdisciplinary manner, in collaboration with the healthcare team, family, and significant other.

• Current Ohio State license as a Registered Nurse required.
• Has practiced as a Registered Nurse in health care within the last 3 years.
• ACLS Certification. Professional Level CPR required.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English with strong interpersonal skills.
• Requires critical thinking and prioritization skills.
• Critical care experience (3-5 years) knowledge of cardiovascular medications and administration of IV fluids and contrast, routine care of cardiovascular patient, and cardiovascular emergencies / operating room.
• 6-12 months of on-the-job experience to obtain a minimum level of proficiency.
