Job Summary
As a Style Merchandise Manager, you will ensure every Macy's store customer receives a shopping experience beyond their expectations. You will guide a team of colleagues in making sure store merchandise is presentable for our customers. You will oversee all merchandising activities, including product movement, price changes, signage, visual execution, event set-up, and reverse logistics. Your creativity, visual style, and knowledge of trends will help create displays that inspire fashion and style among our shoppers. You will also maintain an engaging work environment for an inclusive team that enjoys working together and use coaching, training, and positive management to motivate and inspire.

What you will do :
Apply your experience and knowledge of fashion and merchandise execution to drive sales and profitsDrive optimal merchandise execution standards, dissect seasonal and monthly execution guides and tailor to store architecture and assortment.Lead the communication, execution and training of all visual merchandising directives, merchandising standards for each family of business, and brand partner standards to ensure the floor is always customer-ready.Create stunning store displays using various resourcesStrategize on pricing, signing, and visual, event, and merchandisingProvide strategic support for Own Your Style fixtures / fashion and trend set upsLead DEI initiatives through mannequin and trend presentations inspiring customers to find their personal styleDocument your work with photos to create visual resources of your work that can educate and inspire others.Train the Customer Experience ManagerInterview, hire, train, direct, manage, coach, develop, coordinate, evaluate, and discipline direct and indirect reports; establish strategy for work; provide insight and decision support; direct and manage team to meet or exceed performance and behavioral expectations; address and resolve concernsCoach team members in the art of merchandisingManage inventory, including receipt flow, placement, and stockroomWork a flexible retail schedule including days, evenings, and weekendsWho you are :
3 to 5+ years of management experience in a department or retail storeA consistently clear and effective communicator, writer, and presenterYou know the meaning of urgencyYou love working with people, including teaching and inspiring your teamAn energetic team member who works well with customers and colleaguesStrong in the Microsoft suite, computers, and handheld devices in generalPhysical requirements you will perform :
Prolonged periods of standing / walking around the store or departmentReach with hands and arms, use hands to press, handle, and feelOccasionally required to lift and / or move up to 25 lbs., climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawlRequires close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
