ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and test electrical components, equipment, and systems.
- Compile and analyze operational, test and research data to establish Acceptance Test Standard for newly designed or modified equipment.
- Prepare or direct preparation of product and system layout, schematics, and detail drawings.
- Design electrical equipment using digital, analog and microprocessor based electronic components for military and commercial environments.
- Schematic creation, wire run lists, and familiarity with various electronic and electrical components including mounting methods, heat sinking and location on printed circuit boards.
- Coordinate and perform as necessary operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing when building prototypes.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
- Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standards Organization (AS9100 / ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager / supervisor.

Be familiar with and understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives.Understand required AS9100 / ISO specific Procedures and Work Instructions.Complete all records required by Procedures and Work Instructions.Participate in Atec Improvement Machine (AIM) as appropriate.Participate in AS9100 / ISO training as required.Cooperate with Auditors.Report any deviations to appropriate area manager / supervisor.EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from four-year college or university; or one to two years of experience and / or training; or combination of education and experience.
