VeeAR Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Alpena, Michigan.

Shift Notes : Days : 5x8Hrs : The week would consist of 4 / 10's (0700-1730) or 5 / 8's (0700-1530) depending on the week need / / 40 Hour Guarantee

Weekend Requirements : Weekends and holidays would be only for call coverage

On Call Requirements : UP to 12 shifts a month

Job Description :

This position cares for patients before, during and after angiography, interventional, angiographic cardiac catheterization procedures. This includes pre-procedure assessment, pre-medication, documentation of cath process, post-cath care, patient education. Scrubs in for procedures and assists other members of the cardiac catheterization laboratory.

Performs nursing care of the catheterization / angiography patient.

Operates equipment, i.e., cardiac output, hemodynamic, pacemakers / ICD's, intraaortic balloon pump, etc. Transfers patients, stocks supplies and performs basic office procedures.

Scrubs in for procedures with the physician (not required, but preferred)

Records all pertinent information on appropriate data sheets.

Requirements :

Cath Lab Experience - Required

Interventional Radiology experience - Highly Preferred

1+ Years of experience in Electrophysiology - Highly Preferred

Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation Highly Preferred

Knowledge & operation of intraaortic balloon pump - Highly Preferred

Certification Requirements

ACLS (AHA)

BLS (AHA)

State License Requirements

Michigan
