Overview
The Material Handler - Remnant Inventory & Material Movement (2nd Shift) is responsible for the accurate, efficient, and timely transport of raw materials, test specimens, and finished goods throughout the facility. This includes maintaining organized and traceable remnant inventory, ensuring material availability to support production schedules, and operating material handling equipment safely. This role is key to ensuring smooth workflow and minimizing delays in testing operations.
1st Shift 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm
Compensation : $22.00-$24.00 / hour (Depending on Experience)
Responsibilities
Track, organize, and properly store remnant materials in designated storage areas.
Skills / Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with material handling.
Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar material handling equipment preferred (certification preferred where applicable).
Working knowledge of inventory control processes and material tracking.
Ability to prioritize tasks and support production timelines.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of and commitment to OSHA and workplace safety standards preferred.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment.
Role requires regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting materials up to 50 lbs.
Frequent use of material handling equipment and exposure to moving machinery.
Exposure to noise levels and temperature variations typical of an industrial setting.
Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
