A leading engineering consulting firm is looking to appoint a Regional HSEQ Leader in Houston, Austin, or Dallas, TX. Working with cross-functional teams you will be responsible for ensuring HSEQ excellence across their multitude of projects throughout the region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leader, where you will be given the platform to flourish in the role.

Ideally, the position will be based in Houston, but the role could also be based in Austin or Dallas with 20% - 40% travel required.

The Role :

Take ownership of the HSEQ program for the region. Identifying areas for growth, continuous improvement and reporting back to HSEQ leadership to ensure a best in class culture

Act as the SME for all HSEQ matters across the organization's largest and high risk projects within the region. Advising key stakeholders on compliance and legal requirements

Partner with cross-functional teams, embedding HSEQ into the all stages of a project lifecycle

Keep up to date with any legislation changes to ensure the organization is compliant with all local, state and federal requirements.

The Candidate :

Proven experience managing a regional HSEQ program within the engineering and design consulting industry

Previous experience working on transportation, rail or water infrastructure projects (Required)

Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Quality or related discipline (Required)

Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, across all business levels

Lives locally in Houston and able to travel as required (circa. 25%-40%)
