Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline : RN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel RN Position Job Notes : Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity : RN - Med Surg Job Details : - Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM - Patient ratio of 6 : 1 - Every other weekend or 2 full weekends per month required - Dress code requires ceil blue scrubs - Float to all Med Surg Tele floors as needed - Work with equipment including EKG machines, DynaMaps, bladder scanner, vein finder, and telemetry - Use Meditech EMR system - Med Surg Tele experience required - Meditech experience required - Perform typical procedures including heart caths - Time management and critical thinking skills preferred - Must maintain positive attitude and be friendly and helpful - Work on 36-bed unit with mixed RN / LPN nursing staff Facility : This regional medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services to the community, featuring a modern Med Surg / Telemetry unit located on the 3rd floor of the South Tower.
