Job Title : Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented assembler to join our team. The assembler will be responsible for assembling various attachments and products by following specific instructions. This role requires the use of hand and power tools, standing for extended periods, and lifting heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Assemble attachments and products according to instructions.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
• Inspect parts visually before assembly.
• Set up and prepare jobs for assembly.
• Check part availability on the computer and retrieve parts from inventory.
• Use assembly tooling such as presses, drill machines, testing fixtures, and assembly fixtures.
• Assemble sub-assemblies and finished goods.
• Apply materials like Loctite, grease, and epoxy as specified in the work instructions.
• Assemble products according to special handling instructions when required.
• Thoroughly clean and prepare product surfaces for labeling using acetone.
• Apply proper labeling to products.
• Maintain and clean the work area, including removing trash and wiping down surfaces.
• Rework failed products as necessary.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valparaiso, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00 / hr.
