1980, Roy Morgan founded Air Methods after a personal experience convinced him that properly equipped and staffed air medical service helicopters were a must. Annually, we conduct around 100,000 transports amassing over 150,00 flight hours.

What you get to do :

As a Maintenance Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring the maintenance program on a continuous basis to ensure parts and resources are made available in a timely manner. You will :

  • Control fleet status throughout the system
  • Review documents for scheduled, planned and unscheduled maintenance prior to release; review all documents associated with major repairs and alterations
  • Monitor open MEL deferrals and ensure they are cleared or extended in accordance with procedure.
  • Report irregularities and make suggestions to avoid potential maintenance delays or increased operating costs
  • Communicate procedure or policy changes to field personnel
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement phase of the companys Safety Management System
  • Other Duties as assigned.

  • You previously worked as an A&P Mechanic but are ready to make a move into supporting the team in a different way
  • What you will bring to the team :

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to five years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A&P or ability to obtain certification after hire is required IA is preferred
  • Five Years turbine powered rotorcraft maintenance and / or avionics experience preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations

  • Final compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, certifications, and relevant work experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
