Job description

Job Details :

Position : Respiratory Therapist

Location : Austell, GA 30106

Shift : 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM

Pay rate : $50 / hr.

Contract : 13 weeks

Start : ASAP

  • RRT certificate through NBRC
  • BLS / CPR
  • Immunization records (PPD, Flu and Physical) if updated

Job Duties :

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Implement advanced respiratory care based on comprehensive knowledge, experience, and the evaluate-and-treat process.
  • Deliver care in complex, multi-problem patient situations, especially in critical care areas.
  • Manage ventilator settings, protocol-driven ventilator management, and adjustment in high-acuity environments.
  • Provide education to patients, their families, and support systems regarding respiratory care.
  • Address population-specific needs, considering biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational factors.
