Healthcare Data Engineer

A company is looking for a Healthcare Data Engineer to focus on ETL development and data engineering for healthcare datasets.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain data ingestion pipelines in Databricks for healthcare data sources

Process and transform complex healthcare data types and implement ETL workflows for analytics

Collaborate with data analysts and IT DevOps for pipeline development and document processes for data governance

Required Qualifications

Strong experience in data engineering with a focus on ETL and pipeline development

Expert-level proficiency in Databricks

Hands-on experience with healthcare data formats (837, 835, MMR, membership, pharmacy, provider data)

Solid understanding of data modeling, transformations, and performance tuning

Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred)
