Job description

A company is looking for a VP of Engineering to lead and enhance their engineering team and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and scale the engineering team through strategic hiring, mentoring, and performance management
Write and ship production code regularly as a hands‑on technical leader
Work with Product Managers to define and execute the technical roadmap

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional software development experience

2+ years of engineering management experience

Strong experience with Python or TypeScript

Experience with AWS, GCP, or other cloud providers is a plus

Comfort working in a startup or fast-moving environment
