Accu-Care is seeking a Funeral Arranger for Accu-Care Carlsbad. The goal of the funeral arranger is to provide exemplary customer service to our internal and external customers . This position will be relied on to continue to keep Accu-Care in total compliance with state and local requirements and to attend all field audits by the state.
Responsibilities
- Take first calls during office hours and while on call, dispatch to transport companies following established protocols
- Schedule and conduct the arrangement conference with the family
- Coordinate the cremation, funeral, memorial services.
- Create and Register death through EDRS
- Create checks and submit payment to local health departments for disposition permits.
- Order Urns, Caskets and other merchandise as necessary for families
- Complete assigned training in order to stay in compliance with company policy
- While on call, provide pricing, answer questions and take first calls and dispatch
Requirements and Qualifications
Current license or certification if required by state regulations1+ years of funeral industry experienceProfessional communication skillsExperience handling sensitive situations in a professional mannerKnowledge of current federal, state, and local regulations related to the funeral industryValid driver's licenseThis is NOT a remote positionCompensation
