A Welder at D&H Industries performs a variety of welding utilizing MIG / Robotic Welders and Spot / Resistance Welders ensure components are being welded to engineered specifications.

SCHEDULE : This is a 1st Shift position.

Hours : Monday through Friday , 5 a.m. to 3 p.m., 10-hour shifts. Subject to change based on business need. Any Saturday work is based on business need and is voluntary. We will pay for experience and / or willing to train those new to welding.

THE WHAT

What will you be doing?

• Read blueprints / drawings and job routing and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures. Determines the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
• Set up components for welding according to specifications.
• Weld components / parts by operating MIG / Robotic Welders and Spot / Resistance Welders to setup sheets specifications.
• Produces complex welded assemblies to close tolerances to produce quality results.
• Inspects weldments for obvious and non-obvious defects such as, but not limited to : weld spatter, rough welds, missing welds and sharp corners / edges, correct weld lengths and size.
• Performs metal finishing such as grinding to remove defects and / or fix surfaces to bring them to the required quality level.
• May be assigned to work in other areas of the production floor as needed to meet production deadlines.
