A fantastic engineered solutions company in Charleston SC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join their engineered sales team. This position is perfect for someone with a background in engineering who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and supporting local communities. You’ll work with cities, contractors, and engineers who design and maintain public systems such as treatment facilities. In this role, you will seek to understand customer needs and connect them with the right equipment and solutions for their projects. You will visit customer sites, attend meetings, and stay in touch through calls and emails. You’ll research and prospect for new business, manage existing accounts, and negotiate pricing and delivery terms. To succeed, you should enjoy learning about how things work, be comfortable discussing technical information, and take pride in offering honest, dependable service.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree (engineering or related field)
• Five years of experience in technical, industrial, or municipal sales
• Technical aptitude, with the ability to comfortably discuss complex technical information
• Able to travel within assigned territory
• Great organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and customer databases
