Position Overview :

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide onsite nursing services at the Community Behavioral Health Hospital in Alexandria. In this role, you will be a vital member of an interdisciplinary treatment team, delivering person-centered and trauma-informed care to support patients in a behavioral health setting. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment and helping patients achieve their individual treatment goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Function as an integral member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, collaborating to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize person-centered thinking, positive behavior supports, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care principles to prevent and respond to patient situations.
• Facilitate and document all aspects of patient care from admission through discharge.
• Implement individual treatment plans and document the results of interventions to track patient progress.
• Oversee and administer medications in strict accordance with all policies, processes, and regulatory guidelines to ensure patient safety.
• Provide culturally sensitive, professional nursing care to meet the physical and emotional needs of each patient.
• Uphold all safety, health, and environmental standards to maintain a safe, clean, and humane environment for patients and staff.
