ARRT Radiology / X-Ray Technologist

ROLE SUMMARY :

As an X-Ray Technologist, you will be responsible for performing x-ray tests by applying your knowledge of anatomy and physiology. This includes operating diagnostic equipment, developing films, and preparing exam rooms with the necessary supplies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Greet patients promptly and provide excellent service in waiting and exam areas.
• Communicate clearly with patients about wait times and next steps in their care process.
• Document patient information including vital signs, medical history, and other relevant data.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision.
• Perform timely radiology procedures and adhere to established safety protocols.
• Maintain diagnostic imaging equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and maintain licensure and certifications.

REQUIREMENTS :

High school diploma or equivalent, BLS Certification, State X-Ray License, and ARRT Certification preferred. Experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
