About The Position

Job Title : Pharmacy Tech Inpatient

Profession : Pharmacy

Specialty : Pharmacy Tech Sterile Compounding

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience, with 1 year in the specialty being submitted for.

License : Must have licensure in hand at the time of application.

Certifications : CPI Blue Card required for relevant roles.

Must-Have :

Must be able to float to various areas.

50% of holidays and weekends on contract are required.

Two references from a charge nurse or above are required in the profile at the time of application.

Description :

This role primarily involves sterile compounding of hazardous medications and chemotherapy.

Shifts are Monday to Friday with varying times.

There is potential for weekend and holiday shifts.

The position may require floating to different units as needed.

Previous experience with community hospitals is preferred.

Experience with specific charting systems is a plus.

Travelers may start with certain requirements pending and complete them onsite for free.

Return travelers who have taken a break will not need re-orientation if returning within 18 months.

Locals may be accepted at different rates and must be confirmed for each specific job posting.

Floating to various departments is mandatory for all staff.

Modules related to the specialty will be completed during onboarding and annually.
