Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Crew Members to join our landscaping and groundskeeping team. As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service. This position requires a passion for working outdoors and an eagerness to contribute to various landscaping projects. We are seeking someone for our lawn maintenance and fertilization crew and someone for our project crew.

Duties

  • Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming grass.
  • Assist in planting, watering, and maintaining gardens and flower beds.
  • Utilize hand tools effectively for digging, building, and other landscaping activities.
  • Participate in groundskeeping duties such as raking leaves, mulching, and weeding.
  • Operate equipment for snow plowing, snow blowing, and shoveling during winter months to ensure safe access for clients.
  • Assist with tree care tasks including pruning and planting as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols while using tools and equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.

    • Additional Duties for Project Crew :

  • Must be knowledgeable in hardscape and retaining wall installation, repair and maintanence.
  • Must know how to perform various landscaping tasks, including sod installation and artificial turf installations.
  • Must be knowledgeable in power washing, including what pressures and chemicals to use.
  • Knowledge in irrigation is a plus.
  • Knowledge in tree work, including removals, is a plus.
  • Knowledge in outdoor construction (decks, pergolas, sheds).

    • Requirements

  • Proven 1+ years experience in the landscaping industry.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and small machinery safely and effectively.
  • Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
  • Willingness to learn new skills related to groundskeeping and landscape maintenance.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
  • A valid driver's license may be required for certain positions involving transportation of equipment or crew members.
  • Assist with landscape installations, including planting, mulching, sod laying, and hardscape construction.
  • Willingness to complete various types of jobs, including outdoor holiday light display set ups / take downs, junk removals, dog fecal removal, snow removal, etc.
  • Operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
  • Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and with high-quality standards.
  • Follow instructions from crew leaders and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed properly.
  • Uphold safety standards and company policies at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
